Three players have won multiple Open Championship tournaments since the year 2000.
Tiger Woods had three wins between 2000 and 2006. His first two Open Championship wins came at St. Andrews. Woods’ second and third victories were back to back.
Ernie Els won the tournament in 2002 at Muirfield. Els won his second Open Championship in 2012 at Royal Lytham& St. Annes.
PádraigHarrington won his titles in back to back golf seasons. Harrington won in 2007 at Carnoustie Golf Links and followed it up a year later with a victory at Royal Birkdale.
